Many students simply don’t understand how to study effectively, and unfortunately, the pandemic has only made this situation worse. I offer lessons, both as standalone lessons and longer courses, on how to study in a way that truly works. Consistently studying well can have a huge impact over the full course of a GCSE or A-level.
Academic coaching
Knowing how to get into university, or even know what you want to study, can be very overwhelming for students. I offer mentoring on deciding what to do after school, and how it can be achieved.

Direct Tutoring
As a tutor with years of experience in education and a master’s degree in history and politics, I offer direct tutoring for both History and Politics A-level and GCSE. I have helped a multitude of students finish their exams with the results they wanted on every major UK exam board.
I think many students need direct mentoring and intervention to reach a level of learning they never knew they were capable of. I teach my students how to build habits that can lead them to success in school and beyond.

My Background
Why?
Students of all levels can benefit from direct tuition. Plently of students do not tap into their potential as they lack a goal or a plan to get there. That is why I founded Momentum Tutoring.
I want to help GCSE and A-level students go beyond just studying with a teacher or tutor and teach them essential skills that can help them thrive in school independently and far beyond.
What?
I offer academic coaching and study skills lessons, both as a one off or on an ongoing basis. The aim of my courses is to help students learn how to study effectively, a skill many are missing. This can not only have dramatic effects on their grades but can help them succeed in university or their careers after school.
How?
My lessons bring together my years of experience working in unverisites, admissions departments, schools, home, and online learning. I offer conventional tutoring for History and Politics, but my study skills and academic coaching lessons are for students of all subjects.
